ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We would like to take the time to thank the MIS manager that we conducted an interview with, who was Anthony. He graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Business Administration and Finance. He provided us will all the information we needed in order to make this project successful!

CONCLUSION
Throughout this collaborative term project, we have all gained knowledge on a plethora of topics concerning the management of information systems. Our concentration on Gucci and its utilization of Lawson, an ERP system that handles financial accounting, as well as their social media platforms, namely Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, allowed us to learn how one of the most prestigious luxury brands manages their information systems that facilitate their success in the fashion industry.
While updating existing technology and implementing new technology, in the case of Lawson as an ERP, may not differentiate Gucci from their few competitors, it is likely to provide an increase in productivity that will allow Gucci to continue operating in a smoother fashion. Technology is constantly evolving at a frightening pace, falling behind in any sense is simply not an option for an innovative leader in the fashion industry such as Gucci.
On the other hand, implementing our recommendations regarding Gucci’s social media platforms will not only allow for better feedback production and data collection, but it will differentiate Gucci from its competitors by appearing more consumer-based than product-based, as is customary in the industry. Marketing is indeed crucial for all companies, but not utilizing social media platforms as an information system to the fullest extent is a potential waste of social capital that no company, regardless of prestige, should overlook.
