Recommendations After we realized that Gucci only uses their social media to advertise their products, we came up with the solution that they should be more open to feedback that their customers are providing! Now a days, it is much easier to file a complaint or cheer on a favorite product by writing about it on a social media platform. This is a way people interact with companies and other customers.
Another suggestion we have is for Gucci to be more open to interacting with their fans and customers through social media in order to facilitate additional feedback. They could easily respond and give positive feedback to the people who reply, they could hold giveaways, advertise launches of new stores, and they could post pictures and posts of appreciated customers that possibly attended a fashion show or recreated a look with one of their unique pieces. The important part of facilitating the generation of feedback is that Gucci must collect the data that the feedback provides in order for the social media to have more value. We think with the massive social media following that Gucci holds, it could be a lot easier for them to collect data on any mass opinions that people could have.

Recommendations Upon doing our research on Lawson, we decided that Gucci should consider using an EAI software, which stands for Enterprise Application Integration- which is a suite of software applications that integrate existing systems by providing layers of software that connect applications together. Essentially, you add a new program that connects both programs together. Two different systems - two different silos (when data is isolated in separate information systems), that allow the data to be shared with one another while keeping your own information system. It allows the company to keep all of its data and its systems, they just add an additional program to help the company connect the two together without changing anything. It's also not expensive! The reason we recommend an EAI software is that, if it was in use, exporting information would be easier and more efficient. Currently at Gucci, when information and financials are exported to other software, they often have to go through another program to format it to the correct software format (such as Excel) and then once they have gone through that process, they are exported to Excel. An EAI software will allow accountants to view supporting documents such as invoices and scanned documents that are needed with certain financials because the supporting documents are based in a whole other software. An EAI software will also allow Gucci to share data much easier and quicker in between departments and importing data into more programs than just Excel. Lastly, we recommend updated technology because Lawson is very outdated, it often crashes, freezes, and you can not have too many tabs open at once otherwise the software malfunctions. Due to technical issues causing Lawson users to be less productive, we believe the cost incurred to update the technology will be heavily outweighed by the increased productivity.
